Our foray into catering began where all do... in the kitchen. The success of our retail store, Mastero’s, made the transition into catering much easier. For nineteen years, Mastero’s has been a neighborhood fixture in South Philadelphia. Our loyal customer base only strengthened when we added a full kitchen to prepare homemade specialties for our customers. We have devoted an entire section of our store to hot entree items for a quick, healthy lunch or dinner without the mess in your kitchen. The hot entree selections change daily giving our customers a variety of choices. We also offer refrigerated entrees individually packaged for the microwave or oven.

One of our customers, who manages the Packard Building in Philadelphia, invited us to cater a holiday party for her tenants, which started another chapter for Mastero’s. The Packard is merely one building owned by the reputable Historic Landmarks for Living Corporation. The success of our first corporate function helped develop our solid relationship with the Packard Building and other condominium/apartment buildings in the Philadelphia area. To date, we cater for eleven Historic Landmarks buildings and several other prestigious buildings in the Philadelphia area, providing our service to thousands of tenants annually at various “gratitude” parties.
